R&D team consists of experts with years of experience in the optical communications industry. Our manufacturers are top-class in the industry and support a product OEM. Installing a third-party transceiver does not affect your network equipment.
Q: Can 400G-FR4 be coded for Dell?
A: It couldn't be coded for Dell.
Q: Can it be used on Z9332F-ON equipment?
A: Dell compatible 400GBASE-FR4 is not available currently, but in R&D, will inform you once there is any update.
Q: Is it compatible with Cisco N9K?
A: Tested on our Cisco N9K-C9316D-GX, and it works as expected
Q: The distance between my devices is 700m. Can I use this optic?
A: Yes, you can use the 400GBASE-FR to transmit 700m, as the max transmission distance is 2km of this module.
Q: What do the suffixes "FR4" stand for?
A: "FR" refers to 2km reach using single-mode fiber, and "4" implies there are 4 optical channels. Unlike the DR4 and SR8, all of the 4 optical channels from an FR4 are multiplexed onto one fiber, resulting in a total of 2 fibers from the module (1 Tx and 1 Rx). Each optical channel operates at 100Gb/s.
