The Cisco compatible SFP+ transceiver provides up to 20km of 1000Base-BX throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1270nm-TX/1330nm-RX wavelengths via LC simplex connectors. This bi-directional unit must be used with another transceiver or network equipment of complementary wavelengths. It provides 1000BASE Ethernet connectivity options for Fast Ethernet, Telecom and Data Centers.

Q: Can this BIDI SFP be used for Cisco catalyst 3750-G and Catalyst 2960-S ?
A:Yes, the website of Cisco shows that the above two devices both support 1G BIDI module. In addition, we've tested it on the similar switch Catalyst 3560 and it works well.

Q: Can l get a sample first?
A: We do offer samples before making any production so that the production is up to the buyer's ex-pectation. Samples can be delivered within 5-8 days.

Q:If the SFP at one end is a BiDi SFP 20Km 1.25G Tx1490/Rx1310nm LC, is the wavelength at the opposite end only Tx1310/Rx1490nm?
A: Yes, BiDi modules are used in pairs and the module wavelengths should match.

Q: Does this product get hot after a long time of use?
A: Hi, so far, I haven't seen that, the transceivers is hot-pluggable, safe ensurance, I would highly recommend.

Q:Can these modules be used at distances ≤ 10km and ≤ 20km?
A:The maximum transmission distance of this module is 20Km and the minimum power budget is 11dBm, if the link loss is less than the minimum power budget, then the module can be used at distances ≤ 10km and ≤ 20km. If the link loss is greater than the minimum power budget, it is not recommended to use this module, it may not be able to establish a connection.
