Product Description
Arista Networks QSFP-40G-SRBD Compatible QSFP+ 40GBASE-SR BiDi 300m DOM Duplex LC/UPC MMF Optical Transceiver Module
The QSFP+ module is designed for use in 40 Gigabit Ethernet links over duplex multimode fiber (MMF). This transceiver is compliant with the QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba XLPPI electrical interface. It enables data center operators to upgrade from 10G to 40G without changing fiber infrastructure, thereby saving fiber resources. Digital diagnostics functions are available via an I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP+ MSA, to allow access to real-time operating parameters.
With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be used in various applications, such as 40G Ethernet and Enterprise Data Center.

The R&D team consists of experts with years of experience in the optical communications industry. Our manufacturers are top-class in the industry and support an OEM product. Installing a third-party transceiver does not affect your network equipment.
Q: Can you check if you have 40Gb transceiver, LC/LC, 300m that is compatible with Mellanox MCX314A-BCCT?
A: Yes,it can work well on Mellanox MCX314A-BCCT.
Q: Hello, may I ask if the QSFP-40G-SR-BD module uses a chip from Finisar?
A: Hello, the QSFP-BIDI-40G electrical chip is Macom and the optical chip is Sanan.
Q: Hello, can this module be used on Dell Force10 switch equipment?
A: Yes, I have purchased.and it is a nice one.
Q: What is the difference between the two modules QSFP-BIDI-40G and QSFP-LX4-40G?
A: Hello, the difference between the two is that the QSFP-LX4-40G supports both single-mode and multi-mode transmission. The transmission distance and cost of the two are different. They are both duplex LC interfaces and can be used instead.
Q: Are you a real manufacturer?
A: Yes, our factory is located in Suzhou, China, with 12 years of experience.
Q: Can we connect two Netgear QSFP+ modules using an OM3 MMF pair? Distance is roughly 300M. Thank you for your help, Ira
A:Yes, you can pair it up like this.
