NVIDIA MFA7U10-H003 Compatible 400G OSFP to 2x200G QSFP56 AOC InfiniBand HDR Breakout Cable
(Active, OSFP to 2x200 QSFP56, 30AWG, 3m)
MVSLINK OSFP-400G-2Q56AOC is a 400Gb/s twin-port OSFP (Octal Small Formfactor Pluggable) to 2x200Gb/s twin-port QSFP56 Active Optical splitter Cable (AOC).
The cable is compliant with SFF-8665 for the QSFP56 pluggable solution. It provides connectivity between system units with an OSFP 400Gb/s connector on one side and two separate QSFP56 200Gb/s connectors on the other side, such as a switch and two servers. The cable connects data signals from each of the 8 MMF (Multimode Fiber) pairs on the single OSFP end to the four pairs of each of the QSFP56 multiport ends.
MVSLINK's cable solutions provide power-efficient connectivity enabling higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at a low cost and reduced power requirement in the data centers.

Q: Why are there no NDR AOCs?
A: OSFPs are very large and heavy and the fiber breaks easily. A two-splitter cable will have three large transceiver ends. A four-splitter cable will have five transceivers. That would almost certainly make it easy to break the fiber during installation - especially for a 30 meter AOC.
Q: What is the longest transmission distance of this cable?
A: The maximum transmission distance is 50m.
Q: I only use the 1st splitter of the splitter IB cable, the 2nd splitter is not installed on the NIC, will it affect the use of the 1st splitter cable?
A: It has no effect after the port is configured with a split port, it is recognized as two logical ports inside the device, and each splitter corresponds to one logical port, which has no effect on each other.
Q: What are the scenarios for using the 400G NDR OSFP to 2x200G QSFP56 splitter AOC cable?
A: It can be used to connect Quantum2 NDR Switch and Quantum HDR Switch or HDR NICs with QSFP56 ports and BlueField2-DPU.
Q: We have some QM9700 NDR switches connected with original IB cables, if we use them together with your cables will there be any incompatibility problems?
A: MVSLINK IB cables meet international standards, with good interoperability and compatibility, and are able to be paired together with the original cables.
