MVSLINK OSFP-800G-4Q112DAC is an 800Gb/s Twin-port OSFP (Octal Small Form-factor Pluggable) Finned Top to 4x200Gb/s QSFP112 (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable 112G) Flat Top passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) quad breakout (aka splitter) cable for End-to-End Ethernet solutions.
The 8-channel Twin port OSFP end uses a finned top form-factor for use in OSFP switch cages. The four 200G ends support 2-channels of 100G-PAM4 (200G) and use a flat top QSFP112 connector cage adapters.
MVSLINK's cable solutions provide power-efficient connectivity enabling higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at a low cost and reduced power requirement in the data centers.

Q: Why are there no NDR AOCs?
A: OSFPs are very large and heavy and the fiber breaks easily. A two-splitter cable will have three large transceiver ends. A four-splitter cable will have five transceivers. That would almost certainly make it easy to break the fiber during installation - especially for a 30 meter AOC.
Q: What is the maximum transmission distance of the OSFP-800G-DAC cable?
A: The passive DAC can provide up to 3M.
